Born on May 6, 1995, he was appointed by the Luxottica Group S.p.A. board on April 30, 2019. Leonardo Maria is Chief Strategy Officer of Essilor Luxottica, President of Ray-Ban, and President of OneSight Foundation Italia. He joined Luxottica in November 2017 as part of the Wholesale team in the EMEA Region, where he supported the largest wholesale subsidiaries in Europe and the Middle East. He later developed his experience in the retail sector with Salmoiraghi & Viganò and with the opening of the first Ray-Ban stores in Italy. Leonardo Maria graduated from Bocconi University with a degree in Business Economics and Management. While studying at Bocconi, he gained experience within Luxottica’s business from the company’s headquarters in Milan, as well as experiences in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Before arriving at the helm of LMDV Capital Srl in his current role as CEO, Marco Talarico worked as Executive Director – Ultra High Net Worth for UBS, a position he held after many years of experience at Kairos Partners SGR as Relationship Manager for high net clients. His professional activity, which began after obtaining a degree in Banking, Financial and Insurance Sciences at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2013, has always been accompanied by a strong passion for sport which led him to compete both in motor racing and in skiing at competitive levels.

A solutions-oriented Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) expert with over 15 years of proven excellence in business acquisition, corporate development, cross border transactions and restructuring. Before joining LMDV and taking on the role of General Manager and Managing Director in relation to illiquid assets, Luigi acted for many years as Equity partner at PwC driving M&A processes across Europe, North and Latin America. Adept in leading and coordinating deals and professionals across various geographies, thanks to an extensive business network and fluency in English, Spanish, and Italian. With extensive cross-border experience, he has built and led a high-performing team of over 50 professionals. Father of three and husband to Marina, Luigi is a travel lover, strong sport passionate, former basketball player and half marathons’ runner.

Before joining LMDV Capital, Andrea held senior executive roles within leading financial institutions, where he successfully led investment strategies, structured funding operations, and managed complex financial planning initiatives across diverse market contexts.
Certified in ESG Analysis & Investing, he is committed to sustainable finance and responsible investing practices. Adept at navigating complex corporate structures, Andrea combines strategic vision with strong analytical skills to drive value creation and long-term growth.
Fluent in Italian and English, he brings an international outlook and an extensive professional network, enabling him to operate effectively across multiple markets.
Outside of work, Andrea is passionate about cycling and golf, finding balance between professional challenges and personal passions.

Giacomo, after graduating with laude in Università Cattolica, started his career in Kairos firstly as an analyst in the private banking area and then moving into the asset management. Starting as an equity analyst, he then became Co-porftolio manager of several different strategies with total AUM exceeding 1bn.

Andrea is an investment analyst with an academic background in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. After completing several internships, he joined PwC’s Transaction Services Team, where he gained experience in the automotive, industrial manufacturing, and entertainment sectors, working on financial due diligence, commercial due diligence, and business planning.
Outside of his professional life, Andrea is an avid traveler, sports enthusiast, and wine connoisseur. He is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish.
